Officer, Safety & Security will interact daily with customers, employees, visitors, and vendors, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing courteous assistance.

• Prevent unauthorized individuals/vehicles from entering the facility/restricted areas using the latest security technology.
• Monitor safety, security, fire alarm systems and onsite CCTV; respond as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections of key assets and locations via roving foot and vehicle patrols, both inside and outside the facility, year‑round and in all weather conditions.
• Act as a brand ambassador by providing clear, concise information to customers, employees and visitors, ensuring compliance with facility rules and entry/exit procedures.
• Support the emergency plan in the event of a safety or security incident, providing clear direction to occupants during evacuation.
• Appropriately document any significant security and safety incidents.
• Quickly and effectively assess and de‑escalate situations that may pose a threat to safety or security.

• 0‑2 years experience in a security, customer service or data center environment preferred, but not required.
• Able to make decisions independently and think on your feet while maintaining IMDC policies and procedures.
• Effective communicator.
• Multitasking – using several systems to manage ticket queues; work tasks may change throughout the day.
• Attention to detail – ability to follow documented processes and Iron Mountain’s safety code.
• Organization & prioritization – manage time with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
• Dedication & desire to learn – intent to grow within Iron Mountain.
• Customer‑service mentality – customer obsessed.
• Opportunities for overtime work available.
• Working hours varied; nights, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance through a background check may be required.

Reasonably expected salary range: $42,500.00 - $53,100.00
