Repair and Tool Technician at The Home Depot.
This description reflects the responsibilities for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices, and for maintaining and assisting customers in the Tool Rental Centers.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
- Provide service to store customers in Tool Rental, including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs.
- Check that tools are operating properly and demonstrate their proper use when needed.
- Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
- In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for repair quality, and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage tool inventory by repairing and maintaining tools as necessary.
