Area Manager Assistant – Elkhart (Production) Job Skills / Requirements
Are you a hands‑on leader who enjoys coaching employees, maintaining high standards, and building strong customer relationships? We are seeking a dependable and motivated Area Manager Assistant to support operations across multiple facilities in the Elkhart area.

- Assist with the daily oversight of multiple janitorial accounts and team members.
- Provide work direction, coaching, and support to employees to ensure quality performance and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and compliance with safety procedures.
- Communicate daily with the Area Manager regarding staffing, customer concerns, supply needs, and operational updates.
- Assist with employee onboarding and site‑specific training.
- Conduct quality inspections and document findings to ensure service expectations are met.
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders through the Area Manager.
- Stock supplies as needed at assigned locations.
- Help maintain positive customer relationships by responding promptly to concerns and ensuring service excellence.
The Area Manager Assistant will serve as the primary cleaner at an assigned location approximately 20–25 hours per week and perform duties including:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting and detail cleaning
- Restroom sanitation and replenishment
- Trash removal
- General facility cleaning and upkeep
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience (must be reflected on resume).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow direction.
- Acceptable criminal background; theft‑related convictions will not be considered.
