General knowledge and ability in painting, plumbing, electrical work and carpentry and the use of appropriate tools .
Must be able to stand or walk 6-8 hour s in an 8-hour day
Must be physically able to waist lift, push and/or pull maximum of 80# and overhead lift a maximum of 50#, with frequent waist lifting and overhead lifting, pushing and/or pulling of objects up to 25#
Must be able to frequently bend, squat or climb during a 8
-hour day.
M ay be exposed to working with chemicals
May be subject to differing temperatures
May be involved unexpectedly, or on short notice, to tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or mucous membranes
ResponsibilitiesTo maintain the facility, internally and externally, according to local, state and federal regulations.
The maintain the grounds of the facility
To assist with snow removal in the winter and the proper maintenance of all walkways and entrances at all times
To care for and maintain tools and equipment belonging to the facility
To maintain the facility floors with regular buffing
To move resident's furniture, clothing, etc. to assigned rooms
