$12 – $15 per hour
Responsibilities- Clean lobby, administrative offices, bathrooms, and casinos as assigned.
- Clean and maintain outside appearance and cleanliness of the casino.
- Follow all company and department policies and procedures, and Maverick Cleaning and Sanitation guidelines.
- Sanitize, clean, polish, wax, dust, and maintain all touchpoints including woodwork, windows, slot machines, elevators, wall fixtures, televisions, floors, and walls in all areas of the casino continually, except the kitchen, throughout shift.
- Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
- Remove trash on a continuous basis throughout casino.
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
- Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.
- Stock housekeeping supplies as needed for employee and public restrooms.
- Follow security policies and procedures and report all violations. Perform duties in compliance with company guidelines.
- Ensure security of casino and guests.
- Report suspicious activity to M.O.D or Security.
- Perform related and/or other duties as required.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to focus attention to detail.
- Availability to work all shifts including weekend and holidays.
- Wear and maintain uniforms properly.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced casino environment, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach above the head, frequently go up and down stairs, and remain on feet for the majority of the shift.
