Position: Maintenance Associate - Home2 Suites

Are you someone who enjoys hands‑on work, solving problems, and helping keep a property running smoothly? Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Associate to join our Maintenance team.

In this full‑time, year‑round role, you will assist with the upkeep and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel systems to help ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. From responding to maintenance requests to performing preventative maintenance and general repairs, you will play an important role in supporting the overall guest experience and maintaining Hilton brand standards throughout the property.

Position Details:

Schedule: Full‑Time, Year‑Round

Shifts: Vary and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities
  • Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain Hilton brand standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with property upkeep, painting, and minor repair projects as needed

    Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns promptly
  • Support outside vendors and contractors during service visits when needed
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction
Skills & Requirements:
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on‑call situations as needed
  • Positive attitude and team‑first mindset
Performance Measurement:

Success in this role will be measured by response time to maintenance requests, property upkeep standards, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and contribution to a safe and well‑maintained hotel environment.
