Starting $52,500 (Per EPET Contract)

The School Psychologist supports students academically, socially‑emotionally and behaviorally.
Qualifications- Masters Degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Professional Educator License
- School Psychology Endorsement
- Bilingual (Spanish and/or Polish) – Preferred
- Intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and administrators to find effective solutions to academic and behavioral struggles (background in MTSS)
- Conduct classroom observations; provide recommendations
- Participate on MTSS committees
- Develop, manage, and implement behavior plans; complete functional behavioral analyses and behavior intervention plans
- Participate in functional behavior analysis for Manifestation Determination meetings
- Conduct individual, group, and crisis counseling sessions as appropriate
- Communicate and refer to outside agencies, hospitals, or clinics when appropriate
- Provide crisis intervention and support services when necessary
- Assessment
- Screen and evaluate referred students using standardized instruments, curriculum‑based measurements, classroom‑based assessments, review of progress, observations, and clinical evaluation
- Write reports detailing evaluation findings and educational program recommendations
- Participate as a member of the IEP team; provide evaluation findings, recommendations for special education eligibility, and collaborate in development of educational plans
- Participate in 504 meetings and implementation when appropriate
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director for Student Services or designee
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travel RequirementsTravels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Physical and Mental DemandsWorks in standard office and school building environments.
