Groomer

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning pets.
• Groom and style pets according to owners’ instructions or breed standards.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of pets at all times.
• Develop long‑term relationships with pet parents and recommend products and services that keep pets healthy.
• Engage with neighbors and maintain a friendly store atmosphere.
• Assist with community outreach to attract new customers.
• Complete safety training certification.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Assist store team members during grooming downtime.
• Continuously improve grooming skills and techniques.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of grooming experience with formal training certification or experience under a certified groomer.
• Ability to lift or move merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to provide own grooming equipment (clippers, scissors, etc.).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass drug screening (in applicable states) and be 18 years or older.

Min: USD $35,568.00 yr. Max: USD $70,500.00 hr.
