Position: Maintenance Supervisor - 1475

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations while remaining actively involved on the production floor. This is a working supervisor role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, supporting technicians, and leading by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate daily maintenance activities, improve equipment reliability, support capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
Prioritize and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Remain actively involved in troubleshooting and repair activities while supporting the maintenance team.
Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production.
Perform and oversee hands-on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead repair efforts.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and facility improvements.
Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
Maintain maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment history.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance resources.
Identify and implement practical improvements that increase equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen maintenance processes and overall plant performance.
Promote proactive problem-solving and a culture of ownership throughout the department.
Support the planning and execution of capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal resources during project execution.
Assist with equipment selection, installation, startup, and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Promote safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and established maintenance procedures.
Participate in safety audits and corrective action initiatives.

Qualifications (Required)

Delaware Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe).
Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Five or more years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience supervising maintenance teams.
Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with 480V three-phase electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

(Preferred)

Master Electrician License.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting capital projects from planning through commissioning.
Experience with CMMS or maintenance planning systems.
Demonstrated success improving maintenance operations and equipment reliability.
