Role Description

The Facilities Specialist is a part‑time, on‑site role based in Elsmere, KY, responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of ’s physical facilities. This role includes performing routine building inspections, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and assisting with construction or renovation projects as needed. The Facilities Specialist will manage facility‑related documentation, help administer vendor relationships, and ensure that work spaces, warehouses, and shared areas are organized and compliant with safety standards.

Day‑to‑day tasks also involve collaborating with internal teams to understand facility needs, supporting training on facility procedures, and responding promptly to facility‑related issues or requests to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Facility Management (FM), including building maintenance, safety, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to support Training related to facility procedures and safety protocols.
  • Strong Administration skills for organizing records, managing schedules, and handling facility documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of Construction or renovation processes, with the ability to assist in planning and overseeing projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting, tracking work orders, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to facility upkeep and comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Previous experience in facilities, operations, or maintenance roles is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training in facilities or maintenance is a plus.
