Wesleyan Village is now seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant for Wesleyan Meadows. The successful candidate will have well-rounded experience with providing maintenance in a building.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Assistant:.
- Monitors the performance of maintenance staff by observing staff on all units, on all shifts, and interviewing facility staff, residents, and families
- Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
- Assist the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.
- Review the department’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions and make recommendations to the Administrator
- Maintenance of homes, including plumbing to fixing a gutter; including preventative measures to their houses.
Qualifications of Maintenance Assistant:
- One Year of Maintenance Experience
- Skills in carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing
- Knowledge of Fire and Life Safety
- Valid driver's license
