Part Time Custodian - Emporia

Janitorial Services

Responsible for cleaning assigned area which includes the main office area, restrooms, and any other area that may require janitorial services. Essential functions include sweeping, mopping, and cleaning all floor surfaces on a regularly scheduled basis. Dust the office area as necessary. Empty garbage from all offices and general common areas. Maintain garbage cans/containers in clean condition. Clean windows as required.

Clean outside of main entrance as required. Use various chemicals for general cleaning. Strive for continuous improvement. Other duties may be assigned. Competencies include attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organizing, communication skills, and problem analysis. Education/experience includes a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of problem-solving, good verbal, written, communication skills, and excellent listening skills. Cleaning experience is required.

English speaking is required. Must be legal to work in the USA, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation to/from the worksite(s).
