This is a Full Time Monday - Friday Position with Emergency On Call

Newman Regional Health is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our hospital facilities and infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Support Services, this leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, functional, and reliable environment that supports exceptional patient care, employee safety, and daily hospital operations. The Facilities Manager oversees building systems, utilities, grounds, equipment maintenance, and facility improvement projects while ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.

• Direct daily operations and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, utilities, infrastructure, and support systems
• Ensure a safe, clean, functional, and reliable environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Oversee maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and replacement of facility systems and equipment
• Prioritize and manage work orders to ensure timely completion and operational efficiency
• Maintain documentation for inspections, testing, maintenance activities, and repairs
• Monitor facility conditions and proactively identify safety, reliability, and operational concerns
• Collaborate with department leaders, contractors, and vendors to support facility needs and projects
• Respond to and coordinate resolution of after-hours emergencies and facility operational issues as needed
• Support regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness related to the physical environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, plant operations, construction, engineering, or a related field required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
  Building systems, Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Plumbing systems & HVAC systems
• Healthcare facility regulations and compliance standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• Experience utilizing electronic communication tools, email platforms, and computerized work order management systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Project management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
