Location: Enfield Public Schools, Enfield, CT
Position Type: Full-Time, School Year

Assignment Duration: May 1 (TBD) for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.

Position Overview:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Interventionist to support students in achieving mathematical proficiency. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, curriculum directors, and administrators to provide targeted, data-driven instruction to students who require additional support in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver small-group and one-on-one math interventions aligned with district curriculum and state standards.
  • Use formative and summative assessment data to identify student needs and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons that support differentiated instruction.
  • Participate in data team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans.
  • Provide professional development and coaching to staff on effective math instructional strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Mathematics (029) or eligibility for LTS/DSAP.
  • Experience in math intervention or special education preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research-based math intervention strategies and programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust instruction accordingly.
