The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations within the distribution center to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role provides hands-on leadership to a team of technicians, supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and partners with operations to minimize downtime and maintain a productive warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Supervision:
o Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
o Prioritize and assign daily work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
o Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and support employee development.
• Equipment & Facility Maintenance:
o Oversee maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, sortation equipment, forklifts, dock equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, and building infrastructure.
o Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and company safety standards.
o Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
o Implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
o Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history.
o Support capital projects, upgrades, and equipment installations.
• Safety & Compliance:
o Enforce all company safety policies and ensure team adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
o Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
o Participate in safety audits and corrective action planning.
• Communication & Coordination:
o Partner with Operations, Facilities, and Vendors to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
o Communicate shift updates and report major issues to management.
o Support budgeting, cost control, and parts inventory management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Proficient with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise, dust).

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
