Janitor / Groundskeeper Position

The Denver (APA) location specifically is seeking to fill a Janitor / Groundskeeper position. This position will be responsible for helping maintain and clean on a daily basis high-traffic areas like lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring a presentable and sanitary environment by handling spills, restocking supplies (soap, paper), emptying trash, light dusting, and assisting with special requests, unlike traditional janitors who clean after hours.

Key duties include restroom servicing, lobby upkeep, spill response, trash removal, supply replenishment, and basic maintenance like changing light bulbs, all while providing a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
• Must be a team player
• Basic cleaning and maintenance knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Ability to lift up to 50-pounds
• Physical stamina for standing, walking and lifting; and
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, security check, motor records check and non-DOT physical, post offer; certain positions may require a credit check.

Must possess sufficient mobility, strength, or dexterity in both arms and hands and both legs to reach upward, sideways, downward to work with paper files and sufficient mobility and dexterity to utilize computer systems, fax machines, copiers, and other office.

Must possess:
1) ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, safety guides, and other written materials necessary to perform job;
2) sufficient visual capacity to perform the applicable functions without assistance of visual aids other than eye contacts or eye glasses;
3) sufficient spoken aural capacity to hear and understand instructions, warning bells, fire alarms, or shouted instructions without assistance of auditory aids other than a hearing aid; and
4) ability to impart information orally so that others understand and can respond appropriately.

Prior Facilities Maintenance experience

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation includes a base salary and competitive benefits package.

Salary Range

$19-22 per hour, commensurate experience
