Night Custodian (3:00pm - 11:30pm

School Grounds Maintenance Position

This position is responsible for the physical condition of the school and grounds. Develop and promote good community relations among all stakeholders. This position will also substitute for other custodians at different locations as needed and directed by the Director of Operations and Maintenance or the Supervisor of Operations and Maintenance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include performing cleaning and maintenance related to the upkeep and operation of the site, setting up and disassembling for groups, special events or activities, assisting supervisor with inventory of supplies and equipment, snow removal from walkways and other areas, establishing student, staff and parental rapport that allows for a proactive response to potential problems, actively participating in PLCs and other required training, applying and implementing knowledge, skills and new understandings to support site, substituting for other custodians at different locations as needed, and performing other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education/training/experience required includes a high school graduate or equivalent, bilingual (preferred), one (1) year job related experience (preferred), working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical units (preferred), and English fluency will be determined through the interview process.

Licenses or certifications required include a valid Colorado driver's license, valid CPR and First Aid Certification.

Essential physical requirements include frequent lifting 5 to 20 pounds, occasional lifting 20 to 50 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, standing, reaching, walking, and stooping, occasional sitting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, and frequent exposure to dirt, dust, odors, and fumes, occasional exposure to hazardous materials, and occasional exposure to adverse climate and weather conditions.

Reports to Operations & Facilities Supervisor or designee.

Starting hourly rate from $18.14 to $20.52 per hour, based upon education and related experience.
