Maintenance Supervisor - Enterprise YMCA

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean and well-functioning environment both inside and outside the YMCA. • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to ensure that all necessary repairs or improvements are completed in a timely fashion.
• Maintain all YMCA vehicles assigned to the branch according to specified guidelines.
• Hire, train, and supervise all maintenance and cleaning staff.
• Maintain all appropriate records for the maintenance department, including reporting to Executive Director and/or Metro staff as required and/or necessary.
• Coordinate with outside/third party vendors or contractors as needed.
• Prepare and manage departmental budget within specified guidelines.
• Plan and implement an annual schedule for preventive and regular maintenance of all YMCA property at or assigned to the branch.
• Act as first responder for any Branch facility emergency.

Associate's degree (A.

A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Current CPR/First Aid and AED or within 30 days of hire
• YMCA Risk Management Trainings
