Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for KJLC employees. This position is responsible for maintaining building operations, performing routine and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all facilities are functional, well‑kept, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and brings a strong work ethic, along with a positive, customer‑focused mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key

Job Elements:
  • Performing routine maintenance around the buildings such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door, or wall repair
  • Applies basic carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills to assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including internal or external painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials within the facility
  • Perform snow removal and trash/recycle collection tasks
  • Assist with set up of rooms and outdoor areas for company functions either on site or off site. Including furniture, food and beverages
  • Local travel and overtime may be required
  • Role requires flexibility to support facility operations, including performing duties outside the primary job scope when necessary
  • Supports a safe, compliant, and reliable workplace through additional maintenance and facility support tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required

  • Pennsylvania driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to or exceeding 60 pounds
  • Able to work with others, or individually to complete work tasks
  • Being a good team player with strong work ethic and attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 60lbs. unassisted. Assistance is always required for anything weighing over 60 lbs
  • Ability to organize and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others around you

Preferred

  • 3 plus years of experience in building or facility maintenance
