We're seeking a Reliability & Automation Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, controls, and automation for a high-volume production facility.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who wants to make a measurable impact on plant performance by driving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving OEE, and advancing predictive maintenance initiatives.

What You'll Own
- Lead plant maintenance, reliability, and automation operations.
- Drive initiatives that improve uptime, throughput, and equipment performance.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Build a proactive reliability culture using data-driven decision making.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for critical equipment failures.
- Oversee PLCs, robotics, automation systems, HMIs, drives, vision systems, and controls infrastructure.
- Manage maintenance personnel, controls technicians, contractors, and service providers.
- Drive capital projects, equipment upgrades, and automation investments.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and reliability metrics.
- Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 7+ years of maintenance and reliability experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance or technical teams.
- Experience implementing predictive maintenance and reliability programs.
- Proven track record of improving equipment uptime and reducing downtime.
Strong background in:
- PLCs and controls
- HMIs
- VFDs
- Servo systems
- Robotics and automation
Preferred Background
- Injection molding, plastics, packaging, food production, or other high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- CMMS experience.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma exposure.
- Reliability certifications such as CMRP or CRL are a plus.
- Engineering or technical degree preferred.
