- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Certification in environmental services or facility maintenance.
- Experience working in a post-acute care or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Basic mechanical or electrical repair skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and facility grounds to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and environmental service needs to minimize disruptions in facility operations.
- Assist in waste management, including proper disposal of medical and non-medical waste in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
