Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Mechanical Technician Level 2
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technician Level 2 to join our team in Euclid, OH. This role involves providing technical support to national accounts, distributors, and end users, delivering hands-on technical solutions that meet client requirements. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on various electromechanical packaging and dispensing equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with service agreements.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and service tasks.
- Conduct product demonstrations when required.
- Provide maintenance support and training to in-house maintenance staff.
- Build relationships with back-of-house contacts and gather feedback.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School degree plus Associate degree in a technology field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, electronics) or equivalent experience.
- Broad knowledge of mechanical hand tools and principles.
- Skilled in using PC applications, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use iPads to complete work orders, send/receive emails, and attend team calls.
- Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to understand technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal direction.
- Adaptability to change and tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Good customer service and organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to reason, communicate, make cognitive decisions, audit data, research, and meet deadlines.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license and a good driving record.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during the workweek and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., and carry tools and parts weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, and/or sit for prolonged periods and carry 50 lbs. up four flights of stairs.
- May be required to push and pull a cart with equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
