Position Overview

The Service Technician (Flat Rate) is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining BMW vehicles to factory standards. This role is ideal for an associate-level or early career BMW technician who wants:

  • Consistent work flow
  • Paid training

  • A structured path toward Master certification

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs according to BMW factory standards
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain strong documentation and repair order quality
  • Participate in BMW training and certification programs
  • Collaborate with service advisors and shop leadership to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Performance Expectations
  • 40+ flat-rate hours weekly (based on skill level and production)
  • High-quality repair standards with minimal comebacks

    Consistent training progression toward higher certification levels
  • Strong teamwork and communication
What It Takes
  • 1–3+ years dealership technician experience
  • BMW or multi-brand dealership experience strongly preferred
  • ASE certifications a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Coachable and growth-oriented
  • Strong diagnostic fundamentals
  • Detail-focused and process-driven
  • Team-first mentality
  • Pride in workmanship
