Position SummaryThe Knight Campus custodial team will perform all custodial duties to provide and maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and sanitary environment that promotes a sense of well‑being and caring for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors who use the facility. The custodians maintain the daily cleaning and disinfection of the entire Knight Campus Buildings 1 and 2, including restrooms, kitchens, offices, classrooms, laboratories, and meeting areas on all floors.
The custodial team reports directly to the Custodial Services Manager for the Knight Campus.
Walking extensively, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Requirements- One year of direct custodial experience
- Knowledge of standard building cleaning practices and safety procedures
- High‑level attention to detail and follow‑through
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Time‑management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial chemicals
- Experience providing custodial services in a large facility
FLSA Exempt
