Facility Maintenance Technician

NW Industrial Staffing is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a long-standing, family-owned civil contractor to provide various maintenance services inside and outside of the facilities and company property.

What we are seeking:3+ years of industrial or commercial facility management experience

Support basic HVAC, AC, plumbing & mechanical systems; replace filters & supplies as needed

Strong knowledge of safety standards for building maintenance with an understanding of OSHA and MSHA regulations for industrial facilities.

Good troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues and resolving problems.

Must have a driver’s license to drive between various divisions and shops to resolve issues and perform maintenance.

Previous experience performing routine facility maintenance:
Inspections, repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas, including paint, drywall, carpentry, and structural repairs.

Ability to manage vendors to obtain supplies and services, including trash, recycling, deliveries, electrical issues, and janitorial supplies

Great verbal and written communication for documenting maintenance logs and coordinating repair activities.

Assist with seasonal tasks and respond to emergency repairs

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Can lift 50lbs on an occasional basis and stand, stoop, bend, push, pull, and walk for an 8-hour shift.
