Maintain campus building systems to ensure safety and functionality for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

• Carpentry, assembly & building systems (approx. 25% of work):
  Perform wall, door, ceiling, and floor repairs; paint; assemble furniture, desks, cabinets, shelving; conduct inspections; maintain roofs, elevators, exit lights, emergency lighting, automatic doors, door closers, pest control; coordinate with contractors/vendors for special repairs.
• Plumbing (approx. 25%):
  Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements of faucets, water lines, toilets, sinks, urinals; maintain drinking fountains, ice machines, refrigerators, garbage disposals; monitor and maintain sewer lines, grease traps, floor drains; overall plumbing and piping maintenance.
• Electrical (approx. 25%):
  Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on switches, receptacles, panels; install and retrofit light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts; install new conduit, electrical service and computer cables; terminate and troubleshoot circuits; perform first‑level maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, switch gear.
• HVAC (approx. 20%):
  Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC units; replace filters; service air handler rooms; replace bells, pulleys, diffusers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor (5%).

• High School Diploma
• Training in building systems, mechanics, mechanical equipment, system maintenance
• Two (2) years of experience in construction trades, maintenance, or mechanical systems
