Location: Eureka, IL
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30 PM–9:30 PM
Hours: 20 hours per week
Keep Our Community Clean, Safe & WelcomingESS Clean is looking for a dependable Part-Time Evening Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a local educational facility in Eureka.
This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys an active job, and is looking for a consistent weekday evening schedule.
What You’ll DoYou’ll be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and ready for the next day. Duties may include:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Emptying trash and recycling
- Cleaning entryways, glass, and frequently touched surfaces
- Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies
- Following established cleaning procedures and schedules
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and committed to consistent attendance
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to stay active throughout the shift
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willing to follow safety procedures and cleaning guidelines
Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but it's not required. Training is provided!
