Salary$65,000–$85,000 annually
Key Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Review work prepared by junior accounting staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies and unusual transactions.
- Review balance sheet and income statement accounts and supporting documentation.
- Investigate significant variances and communicate findings to management.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure accounting records comply with GAAP and company policies.
- Support annual audits and provide requested documentation.
- Work closely with accounting staff and management to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Direct long-term care, skilled nursing, senior living, or healthcare accounting experience required.
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- $65,000–$85,000 annual salary, based on experience.
