CTD Temporary Summer Office Manager, PreK – Grade 5
CTD Summer Day Camps, PreK–Grade 5 Office Manager (OM) provides administrative support to the Site Coordinator and Assistant Site Coordinator and to CTD administrative staff. OMs help manage day‑to‑day activities for the summer day camp program office.
Employment Dates and Compensation- Training & Pre‑Session hours:
- ~2 hours online admin training in May (TBD)
- ~1.5 hours online site team training in June (TBD)
- June 25 in‑person training at CTD educators conference (~8:00‑4:00) at NU Evanston Campus
- On‑site part‑time hours (~20 hr, including conference) June 22‑26
- Full‑time, on‑campus work during session:
June 29 – Aug 7, 2026- Hours:
Mon‑Fri, 7:45 am to 4:15 pm (includes one unpaid break) - Location:
Chicago or Evanston site
- Hours:
- Salary: $19 per hour; 37.5 hr per week

- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills; detail orientation and creative problem‑solving.
- Office or project management experience required.
- Positive attitude and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment.
- Computer proficiency and experience with cloud‑based computing required.
- Must be able to traverse distances of at least one‑half mile with or without accommodation.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift 40 + lbs.
- Manage daily communications regarding student, staff, scheduling, and academic issues.
- Implement administrative policies and NU procedures for the summer program office.
- Accurately track purchases and receipts; maintain financial records; communicate with CTD coordinators.
- Provide front‑of‑house hospitality and customer service to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Supply Coordinator to deliver and pick up supplies.
- Coordinate with the Technology Coordinator to manage and troubleshoot technology requests.
- Assist with preparations for the program and distribute class and staff lists and materials.
- Learn, uphold, and implement CTD policies and procedures, including the CTD Honor Code.
- Assist CTD administrative staff in preparing for instructional staff training.
- Triage student health supports to identify necessary care for ill students.
- Oversee procedures for and accurately record student attendance.
