Temporary Senior Financial Assistant |

Hours:

Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri, remote possible) | Pay: $26.00 per hour

Campus:
Evanston | Approximate start date: 1/20/2026 | Approximate end date: 4/15/2026

Responsibilities
  • Payroll management and reconciliation for the central Dean's office at McCormick, including processing payroll journals, add pay submissions, and position funding updates in the myHR Admin system.
  • Review and format spreadsheets, financial reports, and Smart Sheet tracking systems as needed.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service-oriented; one to two years of bookkeeping or financial experience required;
    Excel and financial reporting familiarity.
  • A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Diligent and able to work independently.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Professionalism; flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Software Required
  • MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
