Pay: $20.00 per hour

Serves as a primary desk contact for residents in graduate housing for general administrative needs including distribution of keys and packages during move‑in. Provides prompt, courteous, and timely customer service to our residents and off‑campus contacts. Responsibilities include answering the telephone, greeting residents who come to the desk, answering questions, identifying and analyzing the residents’ housing‑related problems and directing them appropriately.
Must be detail‑oriented, possess customer‑service skills, and have basic technology and software knowledge (Microsoft Office, Pitney‑Bowes, Mercury). Works primarily from the desk (shared workspace) during our peak move‑in period in graduate housing. Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
In addition to salary, this temporary position is eligible for paid time off and paid sick time in accordance with Northwestern University policies. This position is not eligible for other benefits offered to regular staff positions.
