Hourly Pay Range: $22.14 - $33.21.

Location:

Evanston, IL.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, normal business hours. Travel: travel to other locations may be required.

• Process gifts and pledges in a timely and accurate manner and enter them into the donor CRM.
• Generate and send acknowledgments and receipts within two business days of receipt, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and philanthropic stewardship goals.
• Resolve actionable items such as CRM maintenance, fiscal audits, complex donor reporting, global updates and batch gift processing, meeting project deadlines.
• Respond to inquiries from colleagues, prospects and donors, including pledge follow‑up and complex gift types such as stocks, wires, donor‑advised funds, payroll donations and matching gifts.
• Reconcile donor records with Finance, ensuring alignment with donor intent and gift details, and partner with IT for system updates and workflow integration.
• Maintain data integrity by auditing the CRM, updating records, and ensuring accurate backup of electronic and hard‑copy donor information.
• Analyze donor data using available tools, factoring in the full donor relationship for stewardship and engagement decisions.
• Collaborate with Analytics & Reporting and Donor Services leadership to refine processes, document standard operating procedures, and train teams.
• Communicate recommendations and solutions through written reports and verbal presentations.
• Ensure data handling follows regulatory requirements including PCI, HIPAA and privacy laws.
• Other duties as required to support foundation teams and outreach efforts.

• Bachelor's degree required in fundraising, finance, technology, statistics, business administration or a related field.
• Salesforce Associate certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.
• 5+ years of experience working with data in a development or donor‑centric environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Tech‑savvy, self‑motivated learner with a strong interest in fundraising trends, data, and donor relations.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to interact warmly and professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including leadership, cross‑departmental partners, vendors, prospects and donors.
• Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent multitasking, goal setting, accountability, attention to detail and priority management.
