Senior Designer - Interior Architecture

Morgante Wilson Architects is seeking a talented Senior Designer - Interior Architecture to join our award-winning residential design studio. This role is ideal for a design-driven professional with at least 5 years of experience in interior architecture, strong technical skills, and a passion for creating exceptional custom homes.

Our work includes high-end residences throughout the Chicago area and second homes across the country, with a strong emphasis on custom millwork, kitchen and bath design, material selection, and detailed construction documentation.

Lead interior architecture projects from design through construction.

Develop detailed AutoCAD drawing packages, including custom millwork, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Develop finish palettes, material selections, and design solutions.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination.

Conduct site visits and support construction administration.

Ensure design quality, code compliance, and successful project delivery.

5+ years of experience in interior architecture or residential design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD required

Strong knowledge of residential construction and detailing.

Experience with custom millwork, finish selections, and budgeting.

Excellent organizational, communication, and client management skills

Work on exceptional custom residential projects.

Participate in all phases of design and construction.

Collaborate with principals and a talented multidisciplinary team.
