Planning, stocking and implementing and supervising visual/performing arts camp for very young children, ages 3 to 6 in a day camp setting.
Job Summary:
* Assist in training and supervision of camp staff
* Assist and collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
* Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
* Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe camp environment
* Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
* Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
Qualifications:
* College degree or coursework in early childhood education, the arts, pedagogy or related field or equivalent experience
* Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with artists
* Must be able to physically keep up with children
* Responsible and reliable
* Prior camp experience and experience working with children
Schedule:
. You must be available for full weeks during camp season to work.
