District 65 has PreK-8th grade students. Guest Educators step in for primary classroom teachers when they are absent.
Duties include- Classroom Management
- Ensure the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment. - Following teacher directed lesson plans and keep attendance records.
- Assist students with schoolwork.
- Support and enforce all school rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration.
Flexibility
- You create your own schedule and pick your assignments.
Paid Bi-Monthly.
Required LicensureTo be eligible for the Guest Educator position, applicants must hold a current and valid license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Specifically, Guest Educators are required to possess a Substitute (SUB), Professional Educator License (PEL), or Teaching Certification (STS) and be licensed in Region 5.
