Oakton College in Des Plaines / Skokie / Evanston, IL is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses. Compensation is paid on a lecture hour equivalent (LHE) basis, with LHEs sometimes covering labs or intensive grading.
For 2026-27, starting pay rates are published at $1,251 per LHE. Part-time faculty start at the initial pay level regardless of prior experience. Positions are on-site across Evanston-area campuses.
