The Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling a full time opening at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning September 1, 2027. The primary focus of the search is in Applied Microeconomics or Macroeconomics. Duties include teaching, research, and advising graduate students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the start date. Primary considerations for all faculty positions will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and teaching ability.
