Chiaravalle Montessori is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable Assistant Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
This combined full-time opportunity is available only for the 2026–2027 school year and consists of two separate part-time positions: a morning Floating Substitute Assistant Teacher and an afternoon Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.
7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
The Floating Substitute Assistant Teacher provides classroom coverage for all program levels when teachers are absent and fills daily staffing gaps. This role will be prioritized to support the Toddler program first to ensure we maintain the proper coverage level. If Toddler is adequately staffed, this employee will provide substitute coverage or support in other programs or areas of the school as needed.
The day begins with supporting our breakfast program before transitioning to classroom coverage and other assigned duties.
12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
The afternoon assignment provides consistent support to our Early Childhood program, serving children ages 3–6, primarily through supervision and assistance in the EC nap room, including rest routines and transitions.
Important:
These two separate part-time positions together provide full-time hours and benefits eligibility for the 2026–2027 school year only. The afternoon Early Childhood assignment is part of a temporary staffing model and will only be offered this school year. The Floating Substitute Assistant Teacher position is separate and is not part of this temporary staffing arrangement. The combined full-time schedule applies only to the 2026–2027 school year.
For the current school year, the combined assignments are eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, retirement, long-term disability, AD&D, life insurance, flexible spending, paid holidays and scheduled school breaks, sick days, and personal days.
