The
** Senior Standards Engineer
** will support a diverse portfolio of standards and related initiatives, driving the technical quality, relevance, and integrity of safety standards to advance of the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Senior Standards Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert across broad technical areas and ensure safety standards are supported through disciplined engineering analysis, grounded in credible data, research and test evidence.

The Senior Standards Engineer will apply engineering principles, data inputs, stakeholder insights and structured technical evaluation to strengthen standards content, identify gaps, support improvements, and help the organization respond more effectively to new and emerging technologies. , we expand the boundaries of safety science to create a more secure and sustainable world. Leverage experience in engineering to support project initiatives and serve as technical resource for assigned projects involving new standards development and revision of existing standards.

Advance the technical rigor of standards, ensuring requirements are supported by engineering logic, relevant data, appropriate test methodologies, hazard based analysis, and practical implementation considerations.

Maintain continued awareness of industry trends and external context related to the portfolio. Stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks governing public safety.
