Job Description

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and collaborate with dedicated education professionals, helping each student reach their full potential. This contract-to-hire position is perfect for experienced SLPs as well as recent graduates working towards their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Qualifications and Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders (required)
  • Current Illinois SLP-CCC license
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication challenges
  • Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat students from kindergarten through twelfth grade with speech, language, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, treatments, and student progress
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the wider school community
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational environment
