The Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) will perform avariety of hemodynamic evaluations to detect obstructions as directed by aphysician or in response to previous test results, including carotid duplex ultrasound imaging, arterial duplex imaging, venous duplex imaging, and dopplerultrasound, plethysmography, pressure measurements, and other methodologies to evaluate patients suspected of having peripheral vascular disease. Post evaluations, the Registered Vascular Technician provides written preliminary interpretation of test results and communicates to the care team.
- Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technician(RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as Registered Vascular Sonographer required
- Current CPR if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
