QA Analyst/ Data Testing/ETL Testing Consultant
Position: QA Analyst/ Data Testing/ETL Testing Consultant
Location:
Evanston, IL
Duration: 4 Months CTH
Need heavy on data related testing
Please ensure that the candidates are having technical hands-on experience since that is the role requirement. It can’t be a past experience but needs to be current HANDS-ON.
Data Testing/ETL Testing- Selenium web automation (Java)
- Communication skills should be excellent
- 6+ years of testing experience – (hands on UI and data related testing)
- 3+ years SQL experience, strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, with ability to understand and write complex queries.
- Manual testing covering functional, non-Functional, and analytical testing.
- Solid experience in Test Automation using Selenium, Web Driver - developing test cases, test data setup.
- Ability to understand complex business processes & workflow, functional & technical process of application, perform data analysis, validation, and verification.
- Experience creating test plans and detailed test cases.
- Experience preparing requirement traceability documents.
- Experience with test effort estimation
- Experience with performance testing
- Technical
- Postgres, SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, Excel, Gherkin, Cucumber, GIT - Methodology:
Agile
- Normal course of project execution is under Agile methodology. Predictive/Waterfall
- Some of the QA projects run under waterfall methodology. - Strong communication skills – ability to interact with senior developers and business product owners.
- Highly motivated self-starter and team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
Skills:
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, TFS
- Experience using JMeter
- Experience with HP ALM/QC
- .NET, AS400/DB2 (IBM i), SSIS, SSMS, PGADMIN, Python, SAML, RPA
Environment:
Our client’s current IT landscape primarily , SharePoint, Java, AS/400 with SQL Server, Postgres and DB2 database backends. The following Project Management methodologies are adopted:
Hybrid Agile/SCRUM (software development) and Waterfall (infrastructure projects).
