Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Change Management

Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support complex identity and access management initiatives in Evanston, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position requires a strong leader who can coordinate technical teams, keep delivery on track, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a structured project approach, strong knowledge of Agile practices, and the ability to guide Active Directory, organizational identity, and Entra g efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Direct project planning and execution for identity-focused initiatives, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables remain aligned with business objectives.

- Lead coordination across Active Directory, organizational identity, and Entra g teams to drive progress and resolve delivery challenges.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, monitor sprint outcomes, and promote effective collaboration among technical and business participants.

- Use Jira to track milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies while maintaining accurate project visibility for stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder communication by providing status updates, escalating issues when needed, and supporting informed decision-making.

- Oversee project documentation, governance materials, and reporting to ensure consistency and accountability throughout the engagement.

- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust plans proactively to support successful delivery.

- Support technical initiatives involving identity-related changes or transition activities as part of overall project execution. Requirements - Proven experience leading IT projects in a project manager or senior consultant capacity.

- Strong working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in technical environments.

- PMP certification is required or strongly preferred based on comparable project leadership experience.

- Hands-on experience using Atlassian Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and reporting.

- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and coordinate multiple work streams effectively.

- Familiarity with identity and access management environments, including Active Directory and Entra .

- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced project settings. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
