Supply Chain Operations Specialist
Hourly Pay Range
: $18.38 - $26.65 (rate varies by experience and qualifications).
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist manages stock levels across hospital units, medical group locations, and off-site points of care. Responsibilities include inventory counting, ordering, just‑in‑time deliveries, expiration checks, and maintaining clinician relationships while providing real‑time updates on product availability.
What You Will Do- Monitor, count, and record inventory levels for all medical supplies in assigned PAR locations.
- Deliver supplies to departments, ensuring timely replenishment and put‑away in PAR locations.
- Pick, pack, stage, and deliver internal orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply areas, rotate stock, and perform expiration checks.
- Build and maintain relationships with department secretaries, nurses, and charge nurses; provide frequent updates on stocked supplies via phone, Vocera, or pagers.
- Use Endeavor technology to accurately enter data into handhelds, computers, and expiration logs; check email regularly for updates.
- Participate in departmental initiatives such as process improvement, implementations, or regulatory readiness.
- Adhere to Endeavor policies, infection control protocols, and Joint Commission standards.
- High‑school diploma or GED required; certification (CMRP) admired.
- Driver’s license may be required depending on duties.
- Preferred: prior experience in warehousing or inventory management; hospital experience preferred.
- Effective team collaboration with clinical staff.
- Adaptability to a changing healthcare environment and regulatory demands.
- Strong accuracy in data analysis and documentation.
- Clear communication of ideas and findings to stakeholders.
- Proactive problem solving with creative solutions.
- Patient‑ and staff‑focused mindset for improvement.
- Prioritization skills for fast‑paced tasks.
- Knowledge of handling, storing, and rotating medical supplies.
- Completes and adheres to Endeavor training modules.
- Ability to use handheld scanners, PCs, and Endeavor ERP system.
- Medium work: lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 30 lbs frequently, or up to 10 lbs constantly.
