Purchasing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, purchasing strategies, and material sourcing to support efficient business operations. This role requires strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage purchasing processes and ensure the timely availability of quality materials and services.

• Oversee day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with operational requirements.
• Monitor purchasing processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and reliability.

• Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements.
• Ensure appropriate materials and supplies are available when needed.

• Lead and support purchasing team members.
• Establish performance expectations and improve procurement processes.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and other departments to address purchasing needs.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities follow established policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchasing reports and analyze procurement performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and cost analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)
• APICS or ISM-related certifications
• Lean Six Sigma certification

• Competitive salary range of $104,000–$166,400 annually
