Overview

Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sams Club. This role involves helping to provide a positive first and last impression for members by keeping the parking area clean, restrooms tidy, and floors well maintained. You will be on your feet and on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude is important to ensure a great member experience from start to finish.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00 per hour. This range is provided by Sams Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Maintain safety of the Facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials in accordance with Company procedures, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• CLEAN and sanitize all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash according to the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
• Contribute to a positive member experience by ensuring customers have a great first and last impression.
• Demonstrate ability to work on your feet for extended periods and in physically demanding environments.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness across facilities per safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly; adhere to Company steel standard guidelines; report unsafe situations.
• Clean all facility areas (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved methods, chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Respond to spills and maintain a clean environment for Members and Associates; operate floor scrubbers and manage waste in line with Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Keep chemical and supply levels adequate; rotate and store chemicals properly; place orders to replenish as needed.
