JOB OVERVIEW
The Assistant General Manager is a key operational leader within our club — not just support, but a driver of execution, accountability, and momentum.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly self-motivated, dependable, and thrives while managing multiple projects AGM works closely with the General Manager to keep the club running smoothly, proactively solves problems before they escalations, and takes full ownership of assigned responsibilities in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.
This position offers hands‑on leadership experience for individuals who want to grow into senior management and are ready to take initiative, ask questions, and continuously improve systems and outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct weekly inventory audits (retail, beverages, marketing collateral, and maintenance supplies)
- Place monthly supply and retail orders and maintain accurate par levels
- Manage full cash reconciliation and deposit process with precision and accountability
- Receive, track, and adjust retail inventory using club management software
- Serve as a point of contact for member questions and concerns, sales, troubleshooting and resolving account‑related issues
- Lead onboarding and training for all new associates
- Driving sales through successful tour execution and lead generation activity
- Executing all initiatives that support the delivery of the Blink member experience
- Managing the staff on day to day performance
- Assist in driving Personal Training revenue
- Interview, hire, train and develop new staff members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous management, assistant management, or key‑holder experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and hold team members accountable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proven time management, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and professional in a member‑facing environment
- Passion for and knowledge of the fitness industry
- CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital systems
