Job DescriptionThe Membership Sales Manager drives membership growth and community engagement by building partnerships, developing new prospects, training staff, and promoting an inclusive, mission-driven culture aligned with the YMCA’s values.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, along with supervisory sales/service experience and strong computer skills. YMCA Team Leader certification preferred. Must effectively engage diverse communities and obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
Essential FunctionsThe essential functions of the Membership Sales Manager role include driving membership acquisition and engagement, building and maintaining community partnerships, identifying and cultivating new prospects, and strengthening existing relationships. The position also involves training and coaching staff on effective tours and motivational interviewing, collaborating across departments to ensure consistent communication, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and mission-driven culture aligned with the YMCA’s values.
