Days with rotating hours. Ability to travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications
  • Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
  • Create a therapeutic departmental environment that promotes engagement with nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Establish constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees.
  • Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
  • Lead unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence‑based practice.
  • Promote development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciative inquiry.
  • Create and maintain a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
  • Advance practice through development of innovations and change principles.
