Position: Staff Nurse, Infant Special Care Unit-1

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sign On Bonus
  • $25,000 Sign On Bonus for candidates with a minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience.

  • Schedule:

    Full time, 36 hours per week , with weekend rotation)
  • Float coverage needed when required
Responsibilities
  • Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Contribute positively to safety outcomes and promote a high-quality patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing (BSN strongly preferred).
  • BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
  • Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience, with preference for 1 year of ISCU experience.
  • Preferred NICU/ISCU experience.
